Yet another Texas pool build!

I really like the redesign! Good job! When will they redo the forms? That need to be before they get there to do the work on it. That way you can change anything else you see that you want to do different.

Looks like you are heading in the right direction this time!

Kim

Oh my!! That IS beautiful!

Umm, your pool and retreat are headed for a magazine!
Suz.

haha maybe after I have my house, deck, slab painted, and my kids move out. Plus I have to do something with my fence but honestly I am waiting for it to almost fall down first. I think I need some retaining walls built for that too!

My wife and I kid that when the kids move out we are going to have a celebratory bon fire and burn all of our possessions because our kids destroy it all!

Yes, love the pavers! And the design is going to look perfect. Thanks for the explanation about the steps and the grade of your lot. [emoji3][emoji474][emoji474]

No problem! I think my lot is the reason for all my build problems (besides the builder's own growing issues). I sometimes wish I had a flat lot but then again I really love the view and the way my lot looks when it isn't torn all up. Maybe someday I'll find a house with a pool, large lot that is flat, and a view. Now I am dreaming.

WOWER! I love it!

Duh you will not need forms now  Pay attention Kim!

Kim

Maybe I do but I won't know until they build it. We'll see what happens soon. My design might need to be tweaked slightly when they come determine the elevations of my lot.

Love the pavers!!

Thanks I am pretty excited about them. They look better in pictures than wrapped in plastic in my side yard though.

Changes in elevation does have it's benefits (and drawbacks). One requirement for our lot when buying was that we'd be able to have a walkout basement. That ended up making the pool more expensive but with that came added character.

I love, love, love changes in elevation! Most of my favorite builds have that. (I have a raised planter, does that count?)

I've always called it 'interest' that elevation changes create. But I think Bmore describes it better using 'character'.

It's funny that I love so much character when I can't navigate the steps required! I guess we end up with what suits us best. (even if I'd still love multi levels!!)

Umm, it's going to be amazing!
Suz.

I love that pattern and color! Where did you get those for that awesome price??????? WOW!

Kim

Good job on the cushions!! I haven't seen any for that price. Definitely a steal. I needed only one. I found one for 46 dollars and thought I had a good deal.

The pieces are all coming together!
Suz.

Where did you get them?! I need some

Lowes. They are half off of 46 down to 23 and I used a 10% off coupon. I searched their website and changed stores until I found some in stock and then I purchased for pickup in store.

Here are better instructions:

1. On Lowes website click find a store. Enter your zip and click "Make this your store" on the first store or the one you prefer.
2. Search for chaise cushions.
3. When the search is done there is a tab above the list of items that says "In Stock: {Your store}" click on that.
4. See if they have ones on sale you like at the store. If not then search for a store again and pick another store and try again until you find what you want.
5. Once you click on the ones you want then choose "Free store pickup" and checkout.
6. Use any coupons you want. When you are done they'll send you an email when you can pick them up.
7. Go into the customer service desk and show your ID and walk out with the cushions :)

Just for reference the stores have different prices. Make sure you check at a few stores to get the best price. For example the store next to my house doesn't have any chaise cushions on sale but the next closest store to that one has almost all of their instock cushions on sale.

These are the exact cushions: Shop Garden Treasures Green Stencil Patio Chaise Lounge Cushion at Lowes.com
