Beautiful pool. Did they plumb in a drain to remove water? If not you can get a 1.5 inch threaded adapter and ball valve and plumb it into the bottom drain connector of your filter. Here's what I did with mine:

Works great. It's easy to overlook with a cartridge filter since we don't backwash.

Thanks Bob! The plumber did actually plumb in a hose bib to drain the pool. It's a bit tough to see in the pic but it's there... So far I've been very happy with the build, except for a few minor things and the time it took to get everything done. They did seem to think of everything, which is nice because I knew absolutely nothing about pools when I started this whole thing. I still have so much to learn!
