Thank you all so much for sharing the great information, as always! I called Marina Pools and ordered the Active 20 and they will swap out the filters for the one in the 300i/30i for no charge! What a great resource, they are! I had all intentions of getting the S200, but they are not available, for a few weeks, and didn't want to wait any longer.

Now, we are just waiting for our new impeller to come in, so we can finish getting everything else up and going!

Just called Margaret and pulled the trigger on an Active 20. Can't beat that price, I'm SO looking forward to less grunt-work this year with the pool. Yay!!

So,. my old dolphin has finally bit the bullet after 13 years and lots of small maintenance over the years... been researching and besides the colors what is the difference between the active and S series cleaners? I been looking at the active 30,. but should I just get the 20 and have them do the filter swap as mentioned here? help me please ....

You may want to post a new thread as more people will respond who know more than me But from what I understand the S series and actives are the same.. depends on the store and region where it is purchased.

The Active30 S300 are the same. Different color. The 30/300 comes with a caddy to store the unit. The 20/200 does not.
