Wybot Osprey Float inserts?

Received our new Wybot Osprey 700 a couple days ago.

Climbs the walls just fine.
However, it can not make it up the steep hill of the pool floor in the deep end.
Husband says there’s reference in the directions to insert the provided “floats” to help with this, but the picture isn’t clear as to WHERE to insert them.

Could someone provide a better description or photo of where the floats go?

Turns out my beloved had a brain fart and couldn’t figure this out. (See white squares on left and right).
