Wrong pressure gauge

Wasn't thinking and I bought the wrong pressure gauge for my Hayward filter. It takes one with a rear screw in adapter and I bought one with a side adapter. Any problem if I use it as is? I think I should be OK the dial will just face the side instead of facing straight out. Came to the experts for confirmation

As long as you can screw it on, it should work.
Best to get one with a 0-30 psi range.
