Pool balance is out after recent rain/storms and has a tinge of green colour in it - 3 days ago did backwash & added 500ml algaecide & readings were:
TH high, TC 0, FC 0, pH 7.8, Alk 120, run filter overnight - filer pressure 80.
Next day added 2L liquid chlorine - test results: TH - 1000 high, TC 2, FC low 1, pH 8.4 high, Alk 240 high, CYA 30-50.
Today added 200ml acid - which brought the pH & Alk back into balance but realise after reading some posts that I probably need to SLAM the pool but not sure how much liquid chlorine is needed to increase the ppm -nor what level of ppm is necessary? I've just joined and added my signature but I suspect the info may not have saved -guess I will find out soon enough.
