Wood Project - Walnut Picture Frame

I just finished up the below frame in Walnut. The inner frame is linen wrapped poplar. The Walnut started out as rough sawn lumber. I did the molding with a large router table bit. Oh - and the picture is my wife's latest masterpiece from Cairnwood estate outside of Philadelphia that she recently visited.

Very nice, those large molding bits are scary when they are running.
How did you join the frame at the corners, is it purely glued or have you dowel jointed or used some other method.

On my larger frames I use biscuits but for this size, just glue. I thicken the frames with 1x2 stock which adds a lot of strength to the joint.
