With an IntelliFlo, for what duration and at what RPM should I backwash?

So I have read various articles out there that talk about the recommended intervals between backwashing and I realize it depends on a number of factors such as how dirty the pool is, how much it's used, etc. The part I'm curious about specifically since I have a variable speed pump, what RPM should I backwash on because the RPM I use is, of course, going to have a big impact on how much water is getting moved. Also, should I be using any certain RPM for my baseline PSI after a backwash so that I can figure out when I need to do it again?

Thanks :)

You have a sand filter vs my DE, so take this with a grain of salt (or maybe grain of sand). I used 2800 rpm and just backwash until the washout water looks clear.

As far as using pressure to gage when to backwash, I have recorded a clean pressure at a specific rpm, with specific valve settings. To see if I need to backwash, I set that rpm and valve settings, and compare with my clean reading.
