Sorry if this gets beaten to death but I’ve read other threads and am still uncertain. I’m replacing a single speed pump with a two speed from inyopools. Can I replace the current wall mounted on/off switch with a DTDP on-off-on toggle switch to control the power and high/low speeds? If so is there a recommended switch? The current switch is in a double junction box on the right in the pic. My other options are to put a STDP toggle in a sealed junction box in conjunction with the current on/off switch or wait until the motor mounted toggle comes back in stock. Which is the preferred way to do this? Any help is appreciated. This site has been great!

Best is a timer that will control two speeds like an Intermatic P1353ME (mechanism that will fit an Intermatic enclosure) or a PE153 which is the mechanism in an enclosure.
Single-pole, double throw switch will work, that's what the switch that is installed in the motor is.
