Okay...this MAY not be in the correct forum, but here goes.....

My current equipment: Hayward ProLogic - AquaPlus (I'm not sure of SW version, will have to check). Chlorworks 1.5 hp Variable speed pump (my Hayward single speed pump just died).

What I want to know is, if I wiring my pump directly to the CB, then program it to run...say 18 hrs a day. If I set the timer on the Hayward panel to run the same time....will the SWG still function properly?

Is there a simpler way to wire this? I have NO issues working with the electricity, BTW, as I wired my whole system (and house).

Yes. It is best to have the SWCG start 15mins after the pump starts and stop 15 minutes before the pump stops to account for any minor time fluctuations between the 2 systems. If you lose power to the whole house ensure both shut down
