The last two times I've tried to open my cover, the switch doesn't function (nor does bypassing the switch). These were a few weeks apart. I functioned well all season except I had to replace the switch midway though. Now, when this happens, the motor doesn't make any noise at all. Each time, I've reset the breaker, checked all the connections and it works and functions normally.
Today, while troubleshooting the issue, I noticed some corrosion on the switch's electrical connector on the cover motor. 3 holes are quite corroded while the others look virtually new. I suspect this might be the culprit. What I cannot find anywhere is a wiring diagram for the 8 pins in this 8 pin connector. Anyone have any info on these?
