Same old story...friends pool going south from I'm sure from the pool frog. I just get a call that pool store sold them Wipeout they put in 24 hours ago.
Will that stuff initially make it even more cloudy?

Headed to test it all this evening.. she's convinced that the ph and alkanity being off are her issues!
 
God don't I know it Dave! These are the friends I tried to put on the right path from day one. Ordered the dam Taylor kit that is still new in box and bought a frog. After being in my pool a thousand times.

Gonna fix it and walk away.....they don't want to hear any lectures.. test it..make suggestions....and walk away...till next time.

Probably next week in Texas!

They sound like buyers not doers unfortunately. I’ve seen it too many times!

Well.....CYA 90ish and FC was in pool store range of 3-5. I just can't figure out what the problem could be! Pretty milky blue water you can't see the bottom in of a 4 ft. Deep pool.

I certainly wouldn’t argue with them- just kindly explain that the pool store ranges are wrong & that maintenance level fc & mps won’t cure their algae problem. Its harder to hide your facial expressions while in person so attempt to stay cool 😎
Or they can just carry on with the pool store prescription- seems to be working right?

They haven't listened to you in the past - they most probably won't start now.
Until they are willing to learn the TFP methods and do it themselves, you are pretty much wasting your valuable time - AND missing out on swim time in your own TFP pool.

I have friends and neighbors asking me how I keep my pool so clear and sparkly. I tell them about TFP and provide the website info. I make it clear that I won't be their pool guy and if they want pool water like mine, they need to do it themselves - as no one cares about their pool as much as they do. Some have converted to TFP, others have pool issues all year round.

Forget seeing your feet....you can't even see your navel (even if it's an "outie")These are very good friends of mine. The day I have to hide facial expressions....they won't be!

Even their pool guy won't come back. You know why.....cause he can't fix it. Said they might come to my pool today. Only if you wash those swim suits first!

As soon as they arrive let them see you bump up your fc with some liquid chlorine.
All my friends think I am crazy when they see it 😜 but they love that sparkly ✨ water!
