I've heard of a baseball size product that is supposedly an all in one for winterizing. One per 15,000 gallons. Anyone have any reviews or familiar with this?
One of the tenets of TFP is knowing what you put in your water. So unless this miracle product has a full set of ingredients on the SDS (it doesn't) then we would discourage its use.
As far as I have seen those winter balls are pretty much snake oil. I think they usually claim they are enzymes, but the claims they make don't fit what enzymes are actually capable of. They can't prevent algae, for starters. It's just your typical pool product "invent a product then invent the need for it" marketing.
