Winterizing Fiberglass pool in South Carolina

I apologize if this topic has been gone over before but was unable to find out exactly what I was looking for.

I have a 12K gal fiberglass sw pool with spa which I can run the freeze guard and it will switch between spa and pool every 30 minutes when activated.

This works fine but I would like to remove the swg and put in a dummy. My question is how do I configure the hayward aqua plus system once i remove the swg. Do I disable the chlorinator and that is all or is there other configuration that needs to be done. I have a floater with chlorine tablets in both the spa and pool.

Yup, just disable the chlorinator in CONFIGURATION.

Just for your info- I've never removed my cell for winter storage. I just turn the device off, use liquid chlorine when the need arises (not often) and my first cell lasted 9+ years and I'm on year 3 or 4 with my 2nd cell. So down here where it rarely stays very cold hasn't hurt my cells.
