Just finished winterizing the sand filter. Blew out all the water. Removed sight glass and gauge. Set it to winterize and brought the actual pump inside. I am leaving the part with the sand outside. My question is should i cover it at all? If not should i leave all of these pieces unplugged? Thanks

What is the make/model of the filter/pump?
Typically, if you have drained the filter, and removed the drain plug from the filter, there is no reason to cover the filter.
