Winter Cover with Waterfall Feature

So I have a stone wall that comes right up to the edge of my 16x32 pool. This will be the first year I have it and am starting to wonder about winter covers for it. How would they work given there is a long side with the wall like this?

They put eye bolts into your stone wall. When the cover is installed in the winter a steel cable is put through the eye bolts and the side of the cover is fastened to the cable.

That is the way a solid cover is put around my spa wall.

I was thinking that, but wondering about the weight of the snow across the 32 feet of pool on the eyelits and cover. Sounds like something I should have an installer do unfortunately (as they charge 3 or 4 times the price of a cover).
