will pH rise over winter?

Hi all! Getting ready to close the pool in a week or two, and I have a question about pH. My water has very high pH and TA. To keep scale from forming I have been keeping the pH low. Once the pool is closed will the pH remain where it was at closing, or will it rise in the 7 months it is sealed up? My readings as of yesterday:

FC 10.0
pH 7.4
TA 160
CH 500
temp 68
CSI .18

With a TA of 160 your pH will rise while the pool is closed until the water reaches a pH/TA equilibrium probably in the mid 8's pH..

That is what I was afraid of. Sounds like every few months I should dump in some MA and mix it around to keep the pH down.
