My daughters RAV4 was hit twice by hail storms. The first time was when she dropped the vehicle at the dealership for service. She dropped it in the evening and the dealer parked it in their lot for next day service. A storm hit and her vehicle looked like a golf ball. Most of the dents were pulled out by a paintless dent removal company. Cost was $6000. About a year later, her vehicle was parked outside her one car garage. Her sister lived with her and also parked outside. A storm with large hail hit. Again the vehicle looked like a golf ball but with even more dents. A body shop pulled many of the dents out but had to remove a few body panels. Cost was $10,000.
Since then, she sold that house and now has a two car garage at her new house. Her sister still lives with her and both park their vehicles inside the garage.
