So I have an intellicenter 2.026 firmware and a 10 button spa side remote. The temp readings on both the app and spa remote are in sync but the heating setpoints between the two do not. Spa side says it is heating and it is not. I faintly remember that only one can be in control at a time so maybe some one can clarify this?

It works fine to heat to the set point from my Control4 panel or app. when I go to the spa side remote the red heat light is on as that set point is higher but heater had shut off at the other lower setpoint. Just don;t understand why the heat setpoints don't sync with the spa side and the app

It is the Spa Command 10 button. Interesting, I was with the app next to the heater display set point. The set point on the heater did not change when I changed it on the app until I crossed over into a heat call setpoint. So If pool is at 70 and changing the setpoint below 70 there is no change in the heater displayed setpoint. Over 70, heater kicks in and starts to display set point changes. Spa Command does not follow any changes so looks like it has its own set point. Upgraged to firmware 3 on the Intellicenter and same issue

What model heater are we discussing?

Is it connected to the IntelliCenter by the Fireman’s switch or RS-485?

Did the Spa Command ever work correctly with the IntelliCenter?

Master Temp via 485 control. Intellicenter is new, new VSF pump, New heater, old spa command remote, so this is a new issue. I was dealing with Crud firmware before where my new Pentair pump would turn off randomly with my old Intellitouch controller. Could be more firmware issues??

With RS-485 control of the MasterTemp when the IntelliCenter wants heat it sends HEAT ON to the MasterTemp with the desired set point and the MasterTemp controls the heating to that temperature.

You seem to be the first here trying a 10 button Spa remote with a RS-485 controlled MasterTemp on the IntelliCenter.

I think Pentair does not have the 10 button Spa remote working correctly when the MasterTemp is under RS-485 control. You need to report the problem to Pentair support.

Ok, So I am the first to have this setup to test. Great. Pentair was useless and they just wanted me to get a service guy out. I got a regional rep who ave me a good idea to roll back to older firmware and test. I was able to go to 1.064 which is what the unit came with, no dice. I tried to install 1.047 but the intellicenter keep saying corrupt firmware. So, is it possible to install 1.047 just for testing?

I have a copy of 1.023, 1.040 and 1.047 FW on my hard drive if you want to PM me an email address I am happy to send to you. I don't know if they are corrupt or not but may be worth loading onto a thumb drive and trying.

Sure I will try it as the other firmware as 1.064 did not make a difference. Running out of ideas why every function but setpoint works on the Spacommand. Starting to think it is a bug or some hidden setting I am missing.

I would not advise that.

Escalate the problem and ask to speak to an IntelliCenter specialist. Fully describe your setup with an RS-485 connected MasterTemp.
