White Water Mold or something else?

I live in Florida. We got approx 10 inches of rain from Hurricane Ian. We got an additional 4-5 inches just a few days ago. Just yesterday, I notice small, almost tissue like white patches on my pool surface. I netted the pool and the white looked to be somewhat slimy in the net. Is this White Water Mold or scaling from my SWCG?

My cartridge filter hasn't been cleaned in 90 days (we haven't used the pool very much), and it's been at least 8 months or more since I cleaned the SWCG with an acid/water mixture. I plan on cleaning both later today.

I tested my water this morning (Taylor Kit) and these are my numbers:

4.0 FC
0.0 CC
7.9 pH
60 TA
0.0 CYA (Yes I know. All the rain I suppose)
3395 Salt
78 Water Temp
0.04 CSI

Other than a regular cartridge and SWCG cleaning this afternoon, what do you suggest? I was planning on balancing the chemicals as well. Never saw this in my pool before. Let me know. Thanks for your help.

If slimy it is not from the SWCG. Do not use any acid on it unless the calcium buildup cannot be removed with water.

Suspect it is organic from low FC with the large amount of rain. Get 30 ppm CYA in the water. Do an OCLT.

The sock method is slow. Should I go straight in tbe skimmer? We’re looking at 3 lbs. to get to 30 ppm.

The SWCG was clean. I rinsed it. I used a water/acid sit and rinse before I saw your note.

Cartridge filter clean now. Wasn’t bad.

Put the CYA in a sock. Put the sock in the skimmer and run the pump at low rpm until dissolved.

Be careful using acid on the SWCG. It reduces its life.
