I did a pool test saying I needed some pH up so I added the amount. It told me to 5 pounds and I also shocked it now there is a white powdery substance that sells at the bottom if I try to use my vacuum to suck it up it passes right through it and makes it cloudy, how do I get rid of it?

My name is Chris. I live in Texas. I got above ground pool 22 foot circle 52 inches deep approximately 44,000 gallons water was cloudy told me I needed some pH up 5 pounds of it and some shock so added afterwards I ended up with a powdery white residue that settles at the bottom when the pool is not flowing, clogged the within two hours when stirred up. Tried vacuuming while settled passes right to the vacuum filter trying to figure out how to remove this substance.
