White Powder in Auto Fill

I'm new here so hopefully this is in the right section. I recently noticed that in the bottom of my auto fill, there is about 1/4" of white powder residue. When the autofill kicks on, this white powder gets sent into the pool. It doesn't look like the residue is actually on the bottom of the pool floor, just in the auto fill. Any ideas what this could be?

Here's some details about my pool:

Built 2021
Gunite pool
Pebble Tech
9,000 gallons
All chemical readings seem fine
No salt water
Pentair equipment

Post a full set of current test results from one of the recommended test kits.

Gather some of this white residue from the autofill into a plastic container. Put a drop or two of muriatic acid on the residue. If it bubbles, it's calcium.
Being in Vegas, you are using Colorado River water that is high in CH - probably 200-250 ppm (unless your autofill is plumbed to a water softener).
