Hello everyone! Last week, my pool filter housing, which is a Hayward p800 cracked! 
I had had if for 40+ yrs, so that's a GREAT run, but now I'm a stress mess trying to find a good replacement at a decent price!!! The PROBLEM is that Hayward is no longer making the p800 filter housings!
I need to find a filter housing/tank that is the same height or shorter than the P800 bc I need it to fit into my closed pool equipment box!
Can anyone tell me which company makes one that is the same height or shorter than the Hayward P800 & also please tell me where they are possibly less expensive than ordering one from a pool store??

Btw.. what is everyone's opinions about keeping their equipment inside of a closed pool box? I live in Miami florida, and I've always had my equipment in a closed pool box, but is it necessary in order to protect the equipment, or not? Please let me know opinions and facts on this!
