Wanted to install the app and do whatever I need to do to setup an account, etc ahead of unboxing my Dolphin for my pool that isn't done yet, but which app do I need? I searched the (iOS) app store for Maytronics and I see MyDolphin Plus, MyDolphin, DolphinTech, DolphinTech Plus all by Maytronics (and all with terrible reviews, but I digress) - so which one would I use, or what are the differences between them all?

MyDolphin Plus is what the website says to use. That's the one I use for my robot and it works well. Can be a little slow sometimes but it gets the job done.

Does your new Dolphin use Bluetooth or WiFi? The newer Wifi enabled Dolphins use the MyDolphin Plus app. Older Dolphins that use only Bluetooth use the regular MyDolphin app.
The tech apps can only be used by qualified Maytronics service technicians. Which is a major bummer but typical of pool equipment suppliers - they lock customers out of their tech as much as possible.
