Where to start?

I tested with K2006 for everything except CYA as the numbers on the tube only go to thirty. Also ph only shows 8. So I took sample to be tested. There numbers for fc cc ch and ta where on target with what I got.

Sorry should also add it’s fresh build. Plaster was done 5/2 and filled on 5/3. Builder didn’t do anything other than turn pumps on and fill the chlorinator with 6 tabs( that are now dissolved) and hasn’t been heard from since.

- Add enough muriatic acid to take pH down from 8.2 to 7.2. Let mix for a good 30 minutes then re-test TA and pH and see if it's on your scale. Repeat as needed until you get something in the 7s for pH, then stop.
- Add about 20ppm of stabilizer / solid CYA via sock method (put in an old sock or stocking you don't want to keep, tie off and hang in front of a return, squeeze it every now and then to help it along). With a pool your size it may take a couple of socks. Note that CYA dissolved from solid will take a few days to show up on the test, but you can work from your CYA being about 30 and adjust later as needed.
- Add liquid chlorine to at least take it to maintenance levels. How does the pool water look?

Most of this can be done simultaneously except the liquid chlorine and muriatic acid. Wait 30 mins between additions for those two and don't add at same time.

You can test FC with 10ml of pool water and one scoop of powder. Each drop is 0.5ppm FC. Will save you on reagents.
