Need advice on where to place a skimmer in our 22x52 round intex pool. I am also converting from the cartridge filter it came with to a 4500 gph, 19 inch sand filter with 1 hp pump by bestchoice products. Our pool has the 2 outlets(going to the old filter) and one inlet. From what I have read, it will be ok to connect the 2 outlets outside the pool with a T.
Where is the proper place to put the skimmer, or does it all depend on how far you want to plumb? How close or far from the filter should it be for optimum performance?
