where do you dump skimmer stuff?

so when we moved into this house (coming up on our 5th summer) the previous owners had a small metal trash can basically right next to the skimmer. it's in the grass but even has a little paver section for it. we left it there and use it. but it's UGLY. So I have been looking for a decorative trash can, but do I want a trash, even nicer looking, right next to the pool? Where is yours? I have a small yard and I don't want to dump it in the yard anywhere, where it can blow right back in.

We have a 2 gal bucket that we use for skimmer junk that sits out of sight on our deck.

You could paint the can or decorate it with some rope wrapped around it or just walk the skimmer basket over to wherever you keep your trash cans and dump it there.

or use hairnets in the skimmer and carry the used hairnet to your cans.
