I live about 1.5 hours south of Orlando and am kind of new to the area. This past winter I threw a pool cover on our in-ground pool and and dialed back the SWG. I check the water once a week and have been making some minor adjustments to keep things dialed in. Of course the pool heater has been off since the beginning of October.

My issue really relates to the pool heater as I don’t want to waste money keeping it heated if the temperatures keep dipping into the low 50s at night. So the question is, when will the temps around this area be salable at above 70 degrees so I can fire up my heater and start using the pool in my area.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like may average temps get into the 70s....see below.

Some of this depends on your usage and budget. I'm in Ohio and I turn my heater on April 15 and run it until the temps can maintain the pool in late May/June. I don't really care about the cost, maybe a couple hundred bucks...we get more out of swimming than the $$ for 45 days. YMMV.
