My wife found this while cleaning the pool today. Pretty sure it’s part of the pool or cleaning equipment. Does anyone have any idea where’s it from or what it is?

Do you have a pressure side cleaner. With a booster pump? Could be the end of the cleaner that plugs in. Just a wild guess!

When trying to identify a part, you need to examine it very carefully for any markings like numbers, letters, symbols, words, marks, logos etc.

Don’t have a spring check valve that I know of. She was using these when the part showed up on the deck. I can’t see where it could have come from.

Good catch! It is a 5. No other numbers or letters.

Faucets and valves use a seat and spring assembly, which is what it looks like.
It's a stainless steel spring, which suggests that it goes in a piece of equipment that needs corrosion resistant material.
Maybe a washing machine etc?

When I did a google reverse image search check valves for various things came up.
Drains, washers, spas etc. Not sure how something like that might end up on the pool deck though unless it’s the spring from a beach umbrella pole or something.

Looks like it might belong to a garden hose spray head. Perhaps part of the spring valve for the handle.
