My wife found this while cleaning the pool today. Pretty sure it’s part of the pool or cleaning equipment. Does anyone have any idea where’s it from or what it is?0DADBC56-824A-4D1C-8355-5D2647175E49.jpeg6FD94BFA-5584-4DEA-89E7-96EAF6D70F87.jpeg

Do you have a spring check valve somewhere?
Kinda resembles something like that

Or maybe the end of some kind of tool with a spring loaded handle 🤷‍♀️

Don’t have a spring check valve that I know of. She was using these when the part showed up on the deck. I can’t see where it could have come from.

Faucets and valves use a seat and spring assembly, which is what it looks like.

It's a stainless steel spring, which suggests that it goes in a piece of equipment that needs corrosion resistant material.

Maybe a washing machine etc?

When I did a google reverse image search check valves for various things came up.
Drains, washers, spas etc. Not sure how something like that might end up on the pool deck though unless it’s the spring from a beach umbrella pole or something.
This goes in the “what’s the weirdest thing you found in your pool?” Category…

Looks like it might belong to a garden hose spray head. Perhaps part of the spring valve for the handle.

Any broken garden equipment lying about?
