What's Pop'n... Are they Popping?

I have several pop-ups that will pop up and clean, and then I've got the majority that do... nothing.

Are the pop-ups in my pool something I need to worry or care about?

I've been in this house and with this pool for about 5 years, and I'm able to run my vacuum, and add chemicals, and things seem ok- but would they be better with all the pop-ups working?!?

I honestly had no idea what a pop up was until reading your post. It seems to me like it would work better with all of them working. Here is an old thread I found about pop ups: Pop-up problem

It would work more as designed if they all popped up. The idea is for them to pop up in zones and sweep stuff toward the main drain.

Can you tell us the mfg. of the system? Or post a picture of the distributor. That's a round spaceship looking thing with a bunch of pipes coming out the bottom and maybe one coming in the top.
