What would happen if Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate) in therapeutic quantities (2 cups per bathtub full of water) is added to anormal chlorinated pool?

If it has an SWG, you will eventually destroy the cell. If the pool is plaster, the excess sulfate will damage and weaken all cementitious materials. If there is any metal at all in contact with the pool water, crevice and pitting corrosion will be greatly enhanced leading to rust.
Epsom salt doesn’t belong in a swimming pool … ever.
What would happen if i put a ten foot alligator in my swampy pool and asked the neighbor to walk her yappy dog around it?
