Hi all,
I'm closing my pool on my own for the first time, so I'm just making sure I'm doing everything correctly.
When using the main drain to lower the water level, am I correct that I should have the 3-way valve that's by the main drain line (see picture below) with the OFF section in the 6 o'clock position? What should the valve for the spa drain be positioned at? Leave it be as it is in the picture? (the OFF section is at the 3 o'clock position, when the pool is running as normal in pool mode). Or should it be in another position? I wasn't sure if I should be draining the spa as well (maybe it depends on my question below)...
When I drain the water level down, is it just personal preference as far as draining just below the skimmers vs. draining below the returns? I'm going to blow out all the lines, so it doesn't really matter, right?
