What Plug is This?

Hi guys this is the plug on my existing pump for which the nearby outlet is setup to plug in.

In trying to identify a new pump i see NEMA 3 prong and Twist Lock as options and i don't know which one this is. Can you help identify?

It looks like a twist lock 20 or 30 amp plug, in the photo there is a shadow blocking the identification number on the left side of the plug.

hi thanks the plug says XL520P-A and other side says ES322682

i looked at the outlet and it does say NEMA L5-20-R 20A

so i guess safe to assume this is a twist lock rated up to 20 amps?

would i need an exact match on this sort of amperage---i mean are there different plugs for different pumps?

Your plug is an L5-20-P. 120 volt 20 amp

okay thanks danpik-- trying to figure out if i order a new similar sort of waterway hi-flo pump if the plugs would be the same--thinking of actually downgrading to a 1.5 HP

I doubt it will come with a twist lock plug. This is usually an owner installed item.

so can you guys help me out with one thing. i'm no electrician by any means so i would like to match up the plug to my existing outlet. the replacement hi-flo pumps i'm looking at are sold with a twist lock but its a L5-30 Twist Lock. By looking at the diagram it does look close but a bit different than the L5-20. I'm assuming since the outlet says 20amp that i can't use that L5-30? Do I have any other options outside of calling an electrician in?
