Pardon my ignorance. I am going to be replacing my multiport valve as it is leaking. I see this in one of the lines coming from it. I will have to replace it as well and I am not sure what it is.
Thank you for all the help you guys always give!!! My guess is a pressure relief? I am not sure though. It is an old system that was installed well before I got this house. I have had bad luck just monkeying with or twisting things as they are so froze up they break. So before I do that I am hoping to know what it is.

9122 Series PVC Ball Valve, One Piece, Inline, T-Handle, 1-1/2" Slip.

Pop out the center cap and remove the screw to remove the handle.

Oh interesting! Thank you. I didn't realize it was just a simple ball valve with no handle. Well that shouldn't be hard to replace. I have several in the system but they all have the handles to turn.
