What is this piece?

Is this a coping strip for a beaded liner? or what? It seems that the liner was a j-hook liner of which we only have the j-hook part--they cut off the actual liner. I can identify all the other parts of the pool except this one.

This is a new-to-me pool. I only know that it is a 24' 52" steel walled pool. The design is a gray chevron like on the outside. It includes an Artesian Turboking/Pentair pump & sand filter.

Looks like a lip that holds the liner, but I'll admit it's a guess.

It looks like a bead track for the liner.

Does anyone know what brand track it would be for? Is there anyway to figure out a pool's brand without paperwork?

It may be an artesian pool. Just a wild guess. It's going to be a bit difficult to figure out the brand with out any paper work on it.
