What is this in my skimmer?

Black thick stuff. Dirt? Algae?

I suppose it's technically a combo or organic and oily material that creates what I call a scum line. I get it once or twice a year in certain areas. Just wipe it off really good and you should be okay. I've used a Magic Eraser before as well.
