What is this floating in our water?

We recently converted to a salt system and got the salt levels within proper range. Water appears to be balanced with all categories within expected ranges. We run the pump 12 hours/day and I’m cleaning the cartridge filter every few weeks. We run a Dolphin cleaner with ultra-fine filters daily.

All that and we still have all this stuff floating all throughout our water. It’s quite visible at night when the light is on. Any idea what it could be?

Pollen.

Probably pollen or other tree droppings.

Your skimmer should be capturing much of it but you can’t win if it is continuously being blown into the pool.
