I am an elementary school librarian/media specialist. Summer has arrived! Now need some warm temperatures!
I am a kindergarten aide and my husband is a Report Writer for a group of about 10 hospitals.

Not really thanksless. Alot of our guys know what the 2 of us go thru and step up and help or send stuff/money. One guy- sent me a i7 950 CPU!!!BostonSkimmer said:

Another teacher here! Started out as a K teacher. Graduated to 1st grade for a few years (haha!) and now I'm heading back to K in the fall. Oh, the joys of the little ones. Previous job was EMT. LOVED it but it didn't pay squat. I actually got a raise to go back to teaching, imagine that.

I started out as an engineer. Quickly discovering I wasn't very good I got into sales & marketing. :-D 13 years ago I retired from an executive position in a telecom firm.
Since then I've consulted in the telecom industry, managed our rental properties, worked as an investor/advisor for a couple start ups and most recently building a new house.
The DW has a Phd in "Teddy Roosevelt" - CHARGE!

Wife and I both recently retired educators. Well, started out as teachers, but moved into admin duties. We're teachers at heart. Love the summers!
I'm a stay at home mom and I also work part time as a vet tech. My husband is an operating engineer. We also bale and sell hay from our two small farms.
According to my college degrees, I am a Civil / Environmental engineer - which I was for a while - mainly earthworks construction, test borings, monitoring wells, site surveys, that sort of stuff - playing in the dirt.
Then somehow I ended up with the NY State Department of Public service setting rates for electric, gas and water utilities.
Now I am working in telecomm (for the last 16 years or so). My title is "Senior Engineer" for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the US. But I seem to do a lot of accounting and project management there as well.

Pre-K teacher. Most of the summer off, started a 3 week summer camp the past few years. Home at lunch time, just about the right time for swimming! My husband is a maintanence electrician.
Principal Software QA Engineer. I work for a company that automates oil, gas, nuclear power, etc.
I own a small machine shop that uses CNC equipment to build mainly drag racing components. Also do work for Boeing and Sanmina-SCI. My wife teaches gifted education for Blount County, AL.
Heavy Machine Operator for a coal fired power plant. i get to play with very very very large toys!
