What did you do to your pool today?

We could have swam had the water been warm enough yesterday, and I'm not kidding. Sitting in the sun wouldn't have been bad at all upon getting out.

Instead, I raked out some leaves, and ran the robot twice. Rain the chemistry, added bleach, water, and acid. :stirpot:

Yesterday, I cleaned the pool for a party last night and got so warm I actually jumped in for a little bit! It was bracing (water temp is 68) but it felt good and it was December 25.

Popped the corner of the mesh cover and am draining about 7" of rainfall since closing in late October. FC was at shock level at closing and was 3.5 today. Added a gallon of liquid shock though probably not necessary.

First winter with pool, leaving it open. Just ran pressure vac to clean bottom of worms leaves etc. skimmed top, added bleach and acid after testing water, been about a month since last test and bleach added, suprised how little bleach is needed during winter. pH was up to 8 so lowered it with acid. Been clear all winter! 3 months to go then I'll put on new solar cover, looks like blue bubble wrap to me, got it on sale last fall but haven't used it yet. I'm sitting by pool now, come on summer!

Mine too, I got out some leaves and ran the Roby yesterday. Added some bleach, and running him with the fine filters today. When the big storm blew in, it put more dirt in my pool at once than I've ever seen. Perfect storm as they say. Even so with all the work, I so far prefer it open.
