What did you do to your pool today?

Today I set up the pump and hoses for the pool and pumped the water on top of the winter cover into the pool. About 10". Then pumped the bottom (dirty) couple of inches into the grass.

Cut grass, swam for 2 hours since pool temp was up to 87 with outside temps at 92, then checked chem levels (all good with CSI of 0.01)...living the TFP dream!
Threw a gallon of chlorine in the water and turned the heater on in anticipation for the weekend.

added 122oz of 8.25% bleach today. FC went drastically down in one day of 85/90 degree weather...pool is 90 degrees. I'm so upset that my FC fell so hard. Is it the heat? eerrgghhh ... upset. may go dive in the pool for some relaxation.

I honestly don't know what's going on...It's hooootttttt outside and my pool was 74 on the 23rd and now it's 90 today. So I added 122 oz at 5pm today to get it back up to 7.

Opened the cover to a bit of cloudiness. pH had gotten up to 8 at which point calcium precipitates in my pool. Lowered pH, set salt cell and pump for pool to be covered during a 4 day vacation.

1 gal bleach. Brushed and vacuumed and had the pool heater on. Water at 79..... almost ready for a great long weekend at the pool!
Finished the pool pad (deck extension) took off the cover, cleaned the filter and went for a swim with my boys. Water was cold but when your having fun with family, you don't notice.

Brushed the ledges and swam with the girls. Then added CYA to get ready for the Texas heat wave and brushed the pool. While the CYA was dissolving I finished hanging my solar lights on the fence posts (the girls were happy to help carry the drill and screwdriver . Love the end results...
