What did I do??? Blue Crust on my pvc pipes connected to the pump

I’ve been running my pool all summer, learned everything off of you tube so I’m def no expert....yesterday I backwashed my pool and today there is blue crust on every pvc pipe running around the pump/sand filter? What did I do?

Hey B and welcome. Its primer for the PVC glue and its colored so the inspector can spot it from a mile away to know it was done correctly. You can see a few drips on the patio too.

No. It’s never been there until yesterday. Trust me I’m out here ALWAYS. Other ppl have told me it’s glue too and not to worry, I just wonder why it all the sudden came out like this, thought maybe I jacked something up

Thats actually the cleanest plumbing glue job I've ever seen.

Am I seeing things, or is that a big crack on the right side? Part of it stained blue.

No. It’s never been there until yesterday.

If you have earlier pictures, I think that you will be able to see the glue.
