What is your SWCG set to produce over a 24 hr period? Do you run your pump 24 hrs or less?
80 CYA is good for SWCG but your FC level is too low. Best to purchase liquid chlorine and raise it quickly rather than waiting for SWCG to catch up.
Lowering pH was OK.

No only produced when pool is on for 8 hours. But I have a feeling the cell might need cleaning that my next look. Husbands job :)
Thanks keep everything here so will add in 5 mins so I think am good.

I think your issue is that you do not produce sufficient FC to reach the target range for 80ppm CYA.
using 24k gal pool, a IC-40 SWCG and 8 hrs run time - it will only produce 2.3ppm of FC if set at 100%. The UV is probably consuming that FC plus more. If you don’t have algae yet, it is on the verge of it.
You must run you pump longer.
