What Are My Pool Cover Options

We are considering adding a pool cover. Primary reason is to keep our Frenchie from drowning should he fall in if unsupervised. Is not allowed out back without someone but you never know.

I’ve seen the tension-type covers but our pool deck has differing elevations so unsure if this is an option. I wanted to get some ideas before I make any calls to installers.

You can also do an "Up and Over" treatment.

My preference is an "Up and Over" treatment whenever possible.

Drilling anchors into the wall can work, but I don't really like it.

The manufacturer will have guidelines for an up and over treatment.

Whether you install a cover or not, first walk into and out of the pool with your dog a few times so he can learn where the steps are.
