Wet edge upgrades and customization

We need to choose our pool finish ASAP and we cannot decide. We have a spa and for that reason we would like to have primera Stone. I also do not like rough finishes. The upgrade cost of the color we would like, turquoise treasure, is a bit over budget. We are looking at the ivory mist, but it doesn't look like it will shimmer at all which I would like. I have seen in here people have noted they added bags of different things such as shells or glass to wet edge products. We asked our PB about it and they said the products are all premixed. Can anyone tell me if they have added anything to ivory mist to jazz it up a little bit? How was the cost on that? We don't want to pay the same as a level 4 to get a level 1 product by adding something.
14x28 pool including spa and sunshelf.
It's just so hard to swallow this upgrade cost.
