We're taking over and we're confused

Hi everyone,
The included service with our new pool has come to an end and we would like to take care of it ourselves, but we're a little confused and don't really know how to proceed. It seems like they took our salt too high and the rest, well, we just don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

TF-100 results with salt add on
FC 4
TA 120
CYA 40
pH 7.7
CH 425
salt 4200

Our SWG manual says these should be our levels
FC .5 - 3.0
TA 80 - 120
CYA 10 -50
pH 7.4 - 7.6
CH 175 - 400
salt 3000 - 3500

Pool Math says
FC 2-7
TA 50-90
CYA 60-90
pH 7.2-8.0
CH 250-650

Salt level is a bit high but I do not think that will be an issue for the SWCG. When you get a bit of rain this winter if the pool needs to be pumped down the salt level will fall some.

The CYA is a bit low for TFP levels. Depends on where in California you are but I would suggest raising it to 70 ppm unless you are in the mountains.

Follow the Recommended Levels. They are designed to protect your plaster and keep your pool clean and sanitary.

They probably dumped in the "right amount" of salt for your pool, without first checking to see what salt was already in the water. Rookie mistake, but a minor one in your case.
