Our pool was finished in Aug/Sep last year and I have not had a pool since I was a kid. The pool has been CRYSTAL clear since the day it was filled for the first time. When the cover came off this year, nothing but beautiful blue water. I used to be one of those dreaded kids who worked at a pool store in high school. Funny, we recommended liquid chlorine, but about half wanted the pucks. Anyway, I believe in doing things yourself as much as possible, and I love reading articles about people learning new skills.
We love our pool/spa and I'm happy there are resources such as this site that can help people swallow the red pill and get themselves out of the "matrix".
