Weird spots in plaster

What are these? The one by the water feature I left a puck sitting on top of the water feature connector as it was filled with algae and it left that ring around it. How do I get rid of that?

The two white drain heads are a set of floor drains. This in your pool or spa?

@ajw22 The dark circle ring around the hole in the middle of the two drains...in the spa.

I have two other spots where a chlorine puck was sat on the plaster for a day or two....seemed to create a discoloration and a different texture.

Looks like worn plaster. Is it rough to the touch?

The acid in the puck dissolved the plaster it was sitting on. You can try sanding that area and see if it improves. Depends how deep the acid and damage went.

Yes it’s rough and pool was just replastered two years ago ..just regular sand paper?

80 or 100 grit wet & dry sandpaper.
