I’m a new pool owner and have only used the TF-Pro testing kit 4 times now. I dod this test twice and got the same results. Previously, the left/yellow/Cl Br test was always 5 - 10; it’s never come out orange! Do I need to be concerned? Also, am I reading the pH correctly as ~7.2? I appreciate and thank the forum for any input & help, and a super thank you to TroubleFreePool & their Pool School!!!

Hey Eve and Welcome !!!! Orange means it's 10+, with a similar darkening as the yellow. 20+ is brown.

Also, the 5 is for chlorine, the 10 is for bromine. It's one or the other and you don't have bromine.

What is your CYA ?

Also, am I reading the pH correctly as ~7.2?
Sounds good to me. Don't sweat Ph too much with vinyl. And 7.X is equally OK for you.
