Weir door model

Does anyone know the model number of this weir door? I've scrolled through eBay and Amazon and can't seem to find one like it. The patent number is no help because it's apparently just a patent for weir doors. There are two bolts that may be holding the hinge on bit I'm not sure if that's what the bolts are for. I can't find a number on my skimmer either but I am legally blind. So I may be missing it. Thanks for any help.

After putting a couple or three Hayward weir doors on my skimmer over the years I finally figured out that they were breaking because the plastic stop that hung down from the roof of the skimmer had broken off. This allowed the weir door to move in toward the pool due to wave action when we swam which eventually was causing the door to break off. We now have a spring loaded weir door that won't break if it flops the wrong way.

Measure the width of that weir and get a spring-loaded one to match. Could be for a Sta-Rite (Pentair) U-3 skimmer and would be 8 3/8." An 8" spring-loaded weir door would work well and is easier to install.

Thanks for the info. I saw the spring loaded ones. I assumed the spring was just holding back some pins that went into existing holes lol.
Pins hold the rods that press outward when they are removed. If you ever used a spring-loaded curtain rod, its the same thing. Don't pull the pin until you are ready to install and be aware that when the first one is pulled it will shoot that side's rod far away if you aren't careful.

Be aware too that the door might, under vigorous grandchild or kids swimming, pop out of place and float into the pool. If that happens try to get it while it's floating level so that the rubber tips and springs don't get lost in the pool.
