We built our chlorine pool over the winter. Between our builder’s guidance — they’re awesome, BTW — and water testing from Leslie’s we’ve been managing the chemistry on our own. So far so good, but there’s so much more to learn. That’s why we’re here.

Welcome to TFP! Gorgeous looking pool and backdrop scenery you have there. :goodjob: Now that you've made it to the TFP forum, we hope we can help you keep it that way. It's a huge investment and you want that water to remain crystal clear and sanitary. As such, we strongly urge you to consider testing your own water. Local free testing may seem convenient and reassuring, but stick around long enough and we'll show you why it is not. We recommend any pool homeowner test their water with either a TF-100 (link in my signature) or Taylor K-2006C. Either kit is easy to use and very reliable. Please do not fall for local testing results and/or over-pried products.

We encourage you to visit our Pool Care Basics page which has a ton of great articles to help you as new pool owners. Members also download the PoolMath APP which helps with managing their chemicals. Lastly, be sure to update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info. If you have Any questions about your pool equipment or water chemistry, let us know.

Enjoy the forum. :swim:
